WoundCentrics Expands Relationship with Priority Hospital Group; Will Provide Specialized Inpatient Wound Care Services to North Alabama Specialty Hospital
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (August 17, 2026) – WoundCentrics, a national leader in full-service wound care management solutions, has entered into a management services agreement with North Alabama Specialty Hospital (NASH). NASH is part of the Priority Hospital Group which operates long term acute care hospitals in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. NASH will be the 5th PHG site contracted with WoundCentrics.
Situated inside the main campus of Huntsville Hospital, NASH operates as the region’s only dedicated long-term acute care hospital (LTACH). The facility functions as a specialized joint venture between HH Health and PHG, bridging the gap for patients transitioning out of intensive care who still require highly technical, specialized intervention.
“We are excited to work with the Priorities and Huntsville Hospital clinical teams to provide wound care services for inpatients in the North Alabama Specialty Hospital,” said Stuart Oertli, Chief Operating Officer for WoundCentrics. “Our focus is wound care and collaborating with the clinical team on specific care plans for each patient. We bring a comprehensive, collaborative approach to every wound patient’s journey.”
The integration of WoundCentrics expands the clinical support system for NASH’s medically complex patients. The specialized wound management program will focus on healing severe wounds, reducing length of stay, and preventing complications associated with prolonged acute recoveries.
