Columbus, GA — WoundCentrics, a national leader in outpatient wound management, has expanded its footprint in Georgia with the opening of a newly upgraded Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center in Columbus. The enhanced facility introduces hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and a full spectrum of advanced wound treatments—improving access to healing technologies for patients across west Georgia and eastern Alabama.

Located at 3744 Woodruff Road, Suite 3728, the center is led by Mohan K. Sadana, M.D., a board-certified plastic surgeon and wound care specialist. Dr. Sadana brings decades of clinical experience treating complex wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, and chronic infections. His team is wound care trained and provides coordinated, evidence-based care while keeping referring providers informed every step of the way.

“Healing is our purpose and our passion,” said Laura Byrd, RN, Senior Director of Operations at WoundCentrics. “With the addition of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, we are combining advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care. Our new center features three state-of-the-art hyperbaric chambers and a complete range of therapies designed to help patients heal faster, stay active, and regain quality of life.”

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy exposes patients to 100 percent oxygen in a pressurized chamber—enhancing circulation, stimulating tissue growth, and accelerating the body’s natural healing response.

The Columbus clinic accepts most major insurance plans and welcomes both physician and self-referrals. WoundCentrics’ multidisciplinary team works closely with hospitals, primary care providers, and specialists to ensure continuity of care and measurable healing outcomes.
