Texas Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCVI) and Regional Wound Care of Corpus Christi (RWC) held a combined community Open House to introduce their specialized clinical teams to the local Corpus Christi healthcare and business community Wednesday, March 23.

In coordination with the community open house event, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the new TCVI Vascular Clinic and was attended by local healthcare organizations, physicians and Corpus Christi City Council members Ben Molina, Bela Huerta with State Representative, Todd Hunter Office, United Chamber of Commerce Corpus Christi Vice President Esther Pokladnik, UCCCC Membership Engagement Director, Efrain Franco and UCCCC Chamber Champion, Irene Burg with Frost Bank.

Regional Wound Care and the Texas Cardiac & Vascular Institute are co-located at 1533 5th Street, Corpus Christi, TX. began to see patients with vascular problems in the office-based outpatient clinic last fall. Jason A. Yoho, MD and Medical Director for TCVI is a highly regarded, Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist that specializes in minimally invasive, non-surgical therapy for heart and peripheral vascular disease. He has advanced training in both complex coronary and peripheral vascular intervention, including critical limb ischemia. He is a specialist in peripheral vascular disease treatment including atherectomy and stenting and specializes in the treatment of chronic occluded arteries. Additionally, Dr. Yoho participates in clinical research and clinical education, helping other physicians learn new and advanced techniques. He currently is the Principal Investigator in a multitude of studies involving the efficacy of minimally invasive coronary and peripheral interventions.

Dr. Yoho is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. During his years of cardiovascular practice, Dr. Yoho has proven to be a patient-focused, experienced cardiologist committed to serving the communities of South-Central Texas, including Corpus Christi, Seguin, New Braunfels, and San Antonio. Dr. Yoho brings extensive cardiology experience along with innovative interventional care for cardiac and endovascular disease to the patients and communities he serves.

Regional Wound Care Center of Corpus Christi is dedicated to the treatment and healing of challenging, multi-factorial, non-healing wounds, typically referred to as chronic wounds. RWCC recently underwent a renovation to update the facility with new flooring, paint and added treatment rooms to provide more capacity and better patient flow that will improve patient through-put.
